Simplify Your Giving with a Donor Advised Fund

A donor advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Arlington Street Church and other charities you value.

Many of us hope our legacy will include supporting the future of our loved ones as well as  cherished organizations, such as Arlington Street and the greater community. But sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of the causes we intend to support and the documents required to receive tax benefits. Creating a donor advised fund is a convenient and easy way to organize your charitable intentions. Consider it one-stop giving!

You can set up a DAF through your community foundation, financial services firm, or other sponsoring organization. When you make a gift to the fund, your contributions are invested by the sponsoring organization and you qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction—without immediately having to choose the charities to support. When you’re ready, you can give to multiple nonprofits without having to retain records for many separate contributions.

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Arlington Street Church the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.
